Missler's Double Propels Him to Points Lead

After being shut out on opening night at Redmen Raceway, former track champion Ryan Missler roared back in a big way on week two, taking two of three mains and leapfrogging into the points lead.
Ryan Missler doubled this week!

Missler took the opening Championship style points per heat race with 19 points for the five lane affair.  Missler grabbed two segment wins in the process.  Randy Dickman also claimed two segment wins, but a 1 point run in the orange lane doomed his bid for the win.  Christian Booze nabbed one segment win for third (15 points).  Mark Gierhart and John Warren tied with 10 points and got the tie breaker on finishing position.  Lee Booze and Justin Liskai were hopelessly behind in sixth and seventh.
Veteran racer JW got back to his winning ways.

In the 25 laps per lane race #2, Missler again proved to be the man to beat, getting two segment wins and pulling away for a two lap advantage over the field.  Mark Gierhart, making his first appearance in 2017-18 squeaked by Randy Dickman for second (112 laps).  John Warren, Christian Booze, Justin Liskai and Lee Booze rounded out the field.

In the night capper, John Warren captured the win in the one minute per lane, five lane race with 115 laps.  Ryan Missler, Mark Gierhart and Lee Booze all finished with 113 laps respectively.  Randy Dickman, Christian Booze and Justin Liskai completed the event.
The Lou Blaney machine did fair so well on its namesake night.

What's Justin looking at, cause it sure isn't the track!

Racing returns to Redmen Raceway this Thursday 11-30-17 for Super Dirt Week featuring the TYCO Modifieds.
