Missler Sweeps Royal, Booze and Booze get a pair...

The last two weeks of racing at Redmen Raceway featured action galore.  First up February 2, it was a scene right out of Bill Murray's "Ground Hog's Day".  Each race produced the same result: Ryan Missler in victory lane.

The all sprint car night featured three unique races, with the cars remaining in their respective lanes and only the drivers switching on the rotations.  The first race featured a six lane rotation with drivers running 20 laps per lane.  The second race used the unique Trakmate "championship" format  assigning points for each driver's finishing position in that lane.  The third and final event, "The King's Royal" used the traditional 60 seconds per lane racing (6 lanes total).

No matter what format, Ryan Missler more than made up for his lackluster season by sweeping all three formats.  In the Joker's Wild event Missler won two of the six lanes to edge Lee Booze by one lap.  Randy Dickman was just go-around short of him for third.  John Warren, Justin Liskai, Bruce Minner and Christian Booze rounded out the field.

In the Knight Before the Royal event.  Missler again captured two lane wins to narrowly defeat Justin Liskai by one point 25 to 24 (points awarded 6-5-4-3-2-1).  Christian Booze came home third (22).  Lee Booze edged out Randy Dickman on lane sections (20 pts each).  John Warren and Bruce Minner closed out the scoring (19 and 17 pts.).

In the main event, Missler drove away to a two lap win over Christian Booze.  Justin Liskai edged John Warren for the final podium spot while Randy Dickman and Bruce Minner rounded out the field.

After a week off racing resumed on February 16 for #LetsRaceTwo night for mods and sprints.  Christian Booze captured the Sprint Car portion of the night putting three laps on Randy Dickman and Justin Liskai.  Ryan Missler, Lee Booze and John Warren rounded out the field.

In the modified nightcapper, Lee Booze kept the wins in the family with one lap victory over Randy Dickman.  Christian Booze edged Justin Liskai for third.  John Warren and Ryan Missler trailed.

Racing returns on February 23 with an all Modified show.  The season wraps up on March 2 with an all sprint car format...
